I Heart NY T Shirt Girl Walking in the StreetThanksgiving is a great time for all. Especially, when you are in for getting a gift from your best friend, what more could you ask for? During Thanksgiving, I got the Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker. It’s cheap, it is awesome and the best part is that it sounds even better when compared with rest of the competitor products.

This Jawbone jambox wireless speaker review is for all those knuckleheads who want to buy something under $200. I wouldn’t have written about this product if I hadn’t tested it on my own. As a matter of fact, now that I think of it, the testing days have been over since a long time now. As of writing this review, the Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker has already been cooked to perfection.

The Good Stuff about Jawbone JAMBOX Wireless Speaker:

  • This product works as advertised. Within the first few minutes of installation, the speakers will be automatically detected by your device.
  • Compatibility with Windows 8, Nokia 920 Series Handsets, iPhone, iPad, Microsoft Surface Tablet, Android Devices and etc. For more details, see the Jambox compatibility list by ordering the speakers online.
  • The price is absolutely worth it. For $150, you will be getting a very small speaker that is more than enough to rock a 15 Ft. X 15 Ft. room easily.
  • Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speakers are perfect for watching movies, online video and audio streaming, gaming through mobile devices and etc.
  • JAMBOX offers outstanding customer service. Their products were returned, at times, by Amazon customers. The company was very polite and they offered replacements immediately, hence satisfying their customers eventually.

The Bad Stuff about Jawbone JAMBOX Bluetooth Speaker:

  • This wireless speaker literally shakes and vibrates on plain surface. Some people will not think of it as a drawback but there is always risk of damaging the product. However, if you were to get some suction cups or two sided tape, you can stick these speakers in place. Or perhaps a rubberized surface would help you avoid any unpleasant accidents.

After upgrading your Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker program, you will notice that some of its so-called “bugs” are gone.

Once Upon a Time there was a Jawbone JAMBOX Wireless Bluetooth Speaker:

The detailed account of using this speaker, or should I say these speakers (because I got two of them) is very interesting. The first time I opened the box, I noticed neatly packaged high quality Micro USB cables, connection cables, the speaker itself and some other itsy bitsy accessories.

I immediately got down to pairing this wireless Bluetooth speaker with my iPhone and the iPad. Within seconds, both of my iDevices were synched, which is a bit of a surprise. The last time when I was trying to pair the Kinivo Bluetooth wireless headset, it took a little longer than Jambox. Anyhow, Kinivo is good in its own way as well. No complaints about that headset.

But wait a minute; we are talking speakers here, not headsets. So let’s get back to discussing things about JAMBOX. Moving on, I was shocked to see the portability, long battery life and overall performance of the speaker. As I already mentioned that I got two of them from my friend, I placed them apart with my iPad in the middle. The songs, the videos and home made movies; everything sounded great.

In case you have an outdated hardware, you can still “pair” up the Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker by using the non-tangle audio cable. JAMBOX basically provides this cable as part of the box contents. The main thing that really matters here is the sound quality.

I tested Hulu, Netflix and my ‘All Ok Mp4’ converted video songs. All of them had a nice full bodied sound effect. There were no hisses, loud pops or shallow bass notes. Considering that the size of ONE Jambox wireless Bluetooth speaker is roughly the equivalent of two PS3 or Wii controllers, the sound output is surprisingly mind blowing.

What about the Nagging Haters?

Yeah, some people have complained about this speaker’s sound quality. Their reviews normally go like this:

“Hey I purchased the Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker not a while ago. I have been using it for a few hours now. The sound is really not as I was expecting. That’s it, I am headed for a refund! This product sucks”

I’d say that’s not exactly the right way to evaluate any product that you just bought either a few days ago, or a few hours ago. Normally, what happens with new headphones, newly bought surround sound home theater or any other electronic within the audio category is that these things are “too new”. Get it? You need to do the burn in, if you really want to see the product’s true potential.

In Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker case, the burn in phase would mean that you increase the speaker’s volume to an unusual limit and then just play your audio and video stuff for at least 48 – 56 hours. This time period is enough to cook the speaker to perfection. Only then you can really judge a product, whether it was indeed a piece of crap or totally worth your hard earned cash. Don’t be so quick on the returns.

Holy Shit Dude, I Cant Believe This Actually Works!

The other day, I left my Jambox speakers on charge for the night. Next morning, I took them to the office. The operating room is quite big. Everyone was a little curious when I placed both speakers at either sides of my iPhone. The next thing you know, the guys were looking at the speakers in complete awe. The sound, alone, was more than enough.

We had a pleasant day. By the end of my shift, I was still left with 50% battery life, which is great for wireless speakers that are only $150 a piece. What’s more interesting is that my son likes to hog these speakers whenever he’s listening to songs or playing games on the iPhone. The battery life drains very slowly, which is a great thing for anyone whose immediate concern is power consumption.

By the way, a lot of users are bitching about the Live Update that Jawbone JAMBOX wireless Bluetooth speaker recently obtained from the company. In case, after installing the update, you’ve been having problem hearing the audio, static hisses or anything else, you can simply Toggle Off the Live Audio features. Many users are still not aware of this option and they think that the update caused a complete product failure – not true at all.

Overall, I would give these speakers a 4.5 out of 5 rating. I am deducting 0.5 because of the vibration thing.
